How to to Make Money on Twitter

I have been using my twitter for many months now to update my status but I didn't imagine I can make big bucks with it. Well, not yet. But I'm starting to build my fortune here and I feel like I'm going to succeed. 

Making money on twitter is just like making money through blogging. You get paid by making referrals. That is when someone clicks on your links or ads. Some would just click and see what's in it and some would also purchase what you are promoting. You then make money through commissions. Remember that this is not a quick-money scheme. You need some dose of patience and do your homework to earn.

I would like to remind you that I am also currently trying to win this endeavor. So much like I'm a beginner on twitter marketing. So let's start.

1. Get a large pool of followers. This may be a slow process but there are a lot of effective techniques that make the work easier. How? Visit someone's twitter profile, particularly those that have the same niche as you are (which is online or affiliate marketing). 
2. Follow all his/her followers. Trust me, many of them will follow you back. Because you are in the same niche, his/her followers will also have the same interest as you have. I have here John Chow and Marhgil Macuha. They are both in "make money online" business. I have followed the John's first 200 followers and in less than a minute five of his followers had me followed back. See? I'll update you about the number of my followers.
3. Search about other niches. You can also search for keywords in your niche at search.twitter.com. Again, follow users that have appeared on the results and they will start following you back.
4. Unfollow those that have not followed you back. That is, after two days or set your own time limit. You can use friendorfollow.com or tweepular.com.
5. Be an affiliate. You can choose from thousand of affiliate program like Google adsense, or paydotcom.net. I personally have tried neither but in literatures, they are so far effective. 
6. Schedule your tweets. Tweet your affiliate links at times where most of your followers are online. You can do this through futuretweets.com. Tweet even while you're sleeping!
7. Keep the money coming!
